Please read all of the following before filling out the contact form below:
Studio Status: My studio is full for the 2025-2026 Season (my teaching season begins in June and runs through May the following year).
Waitlist Status: I am not adding to my waitlist at this time.
I understand this can be disappointing—especially when you're eager for your child to begin lessons right away — and I frequently receive email requests from parents asking if I can make an exception for their child.
However, while I do truly appreciate the interest and enthusiasm, experience has shown that maintaining a long waitlist is difficult to manage and can leave families waiting with no clear sense of when (or if) a spot will open up.
For these reasons, I keep my waitlist short and only add students when I feel confident they’ll be able to begin lessons in a year or less.
If you’re hoping to join my studio in the future, please keep checking this page as I will update it as soon as I’m able to reopen the waitlist. (In general, summer is the best time to check—that’s when the new teaching season begins and spots sometimes open up. That said, surprise openings have been known to occur at any point during the year.)
Once the waitlist reopens, a complimentary consultation will first be required in order to join it. Spots are limited and have been known to fill very quickly, so it is important to contact me immediately to schedule your consultation once you see a vacancy is available. Once the waitlist reaches capacity, it will be closed to new families.
If the consultation goes well, I will recommend a four-week trial month to see how your child responds to lessons. If it’s a good fit for everyone, I’ll gladly add your child to the waiting list. As previously mentioned, I do my best to begin lessons with families on the list in a year or sooner.
In the meantime, I encourage you to explore my website—especially the frequently asked questions page—to learn more about my teaching style, how I run my studio, and what I expect from both students and parents. This will help you determine if my studio is the right fit for your family.
Please note that I only accept serious, long-term students who are committed to daily home practice, weekly lesson attendance, and who have access to a quality instrument at home. If you're looking for short-term or purely extracurricular lessons, I recommend finding a teacher who offers what I refer to as “recreational” lessons.
You’re also welcome to "like" my music studio's Facebook page to receive waitlist updates as well as keep up with studio happenings in general.
If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out—but be sure to check the frequently asked questions
first, as your question may already be answered there.
Thank you so much for your interest and understanding. I’m honored you’re considering my studio for your child’s musical journey!
